
Ben Porter
Founder & Chief Executive
Ben Porter, founder of LeaderWorks, Inc., brings over 35 years of executive development experience from senior executive roles at Fortune 50 companies. At Lockheed Aerospace, he led the total quality initiative, and at Amoco, as Corporate Director of Organization Effectiveness, he guided a company-wide renewal process. As Vice President of Organization and Leadership Development at PepsiCo Foods International, Ben built global HR systems to develop leadership capabilities. At AlliedSignal (Honeywell), he launched the corporate Learning Center as Chief Learning Officer. He later served as Chief Human Resource Officer for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, overseeing HR for 50,000 employees across 100 countries.
Ben has coached thousands of executives and partnered with companies like General Motors, The Home Depot, and RBC. He holds degrees from BYU and pursued doctoral studies at USC. Ben is also the co-author of Family 360, focusing on improving leaders' family relationships.
